Hello
I have written a new session on using song for an SLN later this week in Herts and there are some newer examples in there so I thought it was worth uploading as a separate entry.

- this is the main body of the presentation with some useful links at the end. The 2 word documents the penultimate slide links to are here:

These two are further singing for structure examples - The first one is a passe compose song written by a colleague Morag Walker - it was responsible for my year 8 French class of two or three years ago actually memorising (long-term memory too!) some past tense structures that they could use and adapt really well! I have sung the first verse - if you click on the Voki icon in the PowerPoint you'll hear it - and the other verses are for you to have fun with. It works for students to write their own verses to this one too.

This one shows 'comer' but can then be used for all ER verbs in Spanish

This singing for creativity example is an excellent Spanish rap I found on youtune - I've type out the words - could be used of course as gap-fill but also for as impetus for students to write their own similar 'familia' rap.

Here are 3 examples of singing for fun

A few more things to follow with a little more uploading time!
